Dear Parents and Community Members,

Communication with parents is an essential part of making our school the best it can be. Toward that goal, we are pleased to send you this year’s redesigned school report card, produced by the Oregon Department of Education.

Pages 1-3 show how our school compares with others statewide.  Pages 3-4 describe programs and experiences available for our students.

This information will help us create a challenging and rewarding experience for each student in a safe school environment. Working with you, we seek to meet each child’s needs so they graduate ready for success after high school.

As a parent of a high school student, your role in your child’s education is still very important. We encourage you to continue to monitor homework and attend parent-teacher conferences.

Learn more by going to our school web page or by communicating with your child’s teachers. As always, please be in touch with any information that will help us serve your child.

Thank you,
Principal Tom Lovell

OVERALL STATE RATING

HOW ARE STUDENTS AT THIS SCHOOL PERFORMING COMPARED TO THOSE AT OTHER SCHOOLS?

The overall state rating is intended to summarize this school's particular successes and challenges. It is based on a combination of up to five factors. Three of these factors come from standardized test scores in reading and math: student achievement, student growth, and the growth of underserved subgroups. High schools are also rated on the overall graduation rate for the school and the graduation rates of underserved subgroups. Please be aware that this rating is based mainly on high-stakes testing and accordingly, represents a limited view of student performance. Other aspects of this report card are designed to put this rating in the proper context.

Compared to all schools statewide in 2013-14, this school is rated as Level 4.
