In the 2013-2014 school year, Sherwood Middle School received an Overall State Rating of Level 4, based upon a scale of 1 to 5.

Sherwood Middle School earned a Level 4 in both math and reading.

 

Key Academic Highlights:

86.9% of our students met/exceeded state standards for reading.

79.8% of our students met/exceeded state standards for math.

 

We are proud of our students’ success and continue to look for ways to improve, such as dedicating resources to improving our reading and math achievement and aligning our curriculum with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), which reinforce literacy across content areas. SMS remains committed to providing the rigor necessary for high school readiness and opportunities for students to earn high school credits while in middle school.
